Register for Fun Summer Programs with the Barkhamsted Recreation Department
Join us on Friday, August 11th for a double-header of Fun! (Paddle at Collinsville Canoe and Kayak and then join in at a fun night at Puddletown Adventures in New Hartford! These are separate events, sign up for one or the other or hopefully both!)
Paddle the Farmington River with Barkhamsted Recreation and The FRCC River Stewards (2023 River and Recreation Events) (New)
Experience the beautiful vistas of the scenic Farmington River during an evening of fun while paddling with Collinsville Canoe and Kayak, FRCC Summer River Stewards and the Barkhamsted Recreation Department for our River and Recreation Family Event. Spend an enjoyable evening while getting in some great exercise. You can choose whether you would like to kayak or Paddle Board. The cost is $25.00 per person and the price includes a paddleboard, or kayak, paddle and life vest. Lots of smiles and laughs are sure to be had by all. The program is open to adults and families. Children should be ages 8 or over and should be able to swim. The cost is $10 if you have your own supplies. Collinsville Canoe charges $5 for Parking and boat launch and then $5.00 for Barkhamsted Recreation. (Payment must be received one week prior to the program)

Friday Night Fun at Puddletown Adventures
Join the Barkhamsted Recreation Department and the FRCC River Steward Team for a night of fun at Puddletown Adventures in New Hartford. Come check out all that Puddletown has to offer while having a great time with friends on the banks of the beautiful Wild and Scenic River. Puddetown has Arrow Dodge (dodgeball with archery, nerf with foam darts and blasters to shoot targets and engage in friendly battles with other participants, cornhole, lawn games, trivia and so much more! The program will be held on Friday, August 11 directly after our Paddle Night at Collinsville Canoe and Kayak and we will then go to Puddletown and the event will be held rain or shine.

Fee-$10.00 (Small snacks will be served, you may also bring your own food/dinner.)
