For their safety, all residents are advised that entry into Stanclift Cove is prohibited for the next three weeks. There is significant tree clearing underway for public safety, using large, heavy equipment. This work is being performed through the Metropolitan District Commission, who owns the property, at the request of the two towns. The towns’ tree wardens conducted a careful review of the trees, which are very mature pines that present significant hazard.
The Cove schedule begins on June 10 to allow folks to obtain passes and it is expected to open as usual on Fathers’ Day weekend. Feel free to call Town Hall if you have any questions.
