STEP 2: Register and pay Ski Sundown directly for your child's ski program.

📅 PROGRAM DETAILS
Who: Students in grades 3–6
Where: Ski Sundown
When: Wednesday afternoons for five weeks
Dates: January 6, 13, 20, 27 and February 3, 2027
Backup date: February 10, 2027, if needed
Time: 4:00–7:00 p.m.
Lessons begin at 5:00 p.m.
Children will ride the ski bus directly from Barkhamsted Elementary School after school. Parents/caregivers must arrange to drive their children home from Ski Sundown.

Lesson and Lift + Bus — $411 TOTAL
- $381 paid directly to Ski Sundown
- $30 paid directly to Barkhamsted Recreation for the bus
Lift Only + Bus — $271 TOTAL
- $241 paid directly to Ski Sundown
- $30 paid directly to Barkhamsted Recreation for the bus
Pass Holder Lesson + Bus — $256 TOTAL
- $226 paid directly to Ski Sundown
- $30 paid directly to Barkhamsted Recreation for the bus
Optional Equipment Rental — $151 EXTRA
Equipment rental is additional to the selected program price.

The $30 bus fee must be paid directly to Barkhamsted Recreation, separately from your Ski Sundown payment.

Optional Equipment Rentals — $151
Remember to apply the promo code BARKHAMSTEDREC at Ski Sundown checkout. If registering more than one child, place a separate order for each child and apply the code to each order.
📌 DEADLINE: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2026
All forms, registrations and payments must be completed by this date so everything can be submitted to Ski Sundown on time.
Late registrations may incur:
- $25 late fee paid to Ski Sundown
- $5 late fee paid to the Town of Barkhamsted
Space is not guaranteed after the deadline.
⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- Helmets are required.
- Label your child's skis and equipment. Locks are strongly recommended.
- All parents and children must attend Ski Sundown's online safety meeting.
- Children must be accompanied by a parent, caregiver or helper while at Ski Sundown.
- Parent chaperones and volunteers are essential to making this program possible.
- To volunteer or chaperone, please email Donna Bastrzycki at barkhamstedrec@barkhamsted.us.
We ask parents to ski with their children whenever possible. Please consider that this is an outdoor-focused program before registering.
