Sign up for Barkhamsted Recreation Department’s New Pickleball Program 2022!
It is time to get some great exercise, get out of the house, off the couch and join us for a very fun Winter Pickleball Session. All levels and abilities are welcome. This enjoyable sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.
Day-Wednesdays
Dates/Time-January 5, 12, 19, 26, February 2, 9 in the Barkhamsted Elementary School gym. These are all Wednesday’s from 6:00-9:00 p.m. (If the Barkhamsted Elementary school is cancelled due to snow/bad weather there will be no program) We will try to add on a week if possible at the end of the session.

Location-Barkhamsted Elementary School Gym
Time-6:00-9:00 p.m. (this program is for adults and for children ages 14 and older with caregiver)
Fee: $20.00 for residents, $25.00 for non-residents per six week session (no pro-rations) Pre-registration is required. Please bring your own paddle and wear sneakers. Please mail or drop off your payment to The Barkhamsted Recreation Department- Attention Donna Bastrzycki-Recreation Director. 67 Ripley Hill Road, Pleasant Valley, CT 06063 (there is a white drop of mail box in front of town hall)
All participants must complete the registration from this link prior to the start of the first session. https://forms.gle/c76ec3W7iACtKHjW9 Registration deadline is Monday, January 3, 2022 or when the program hits it's maximum registrations. Be sure to register early as space is limited!
You can also pay on site the first night of the program- Wed. January 5th. Please bring exact change or a check made out to Barkhamsted Recreation Department but please complete the above registration link by Monday, January 3 2022.

We will be practicing social/physical distancing and participants are asked wear face coverings. We will also have hand sanitizer available at the program. Please also take your temperature before arriving and if you have a temperature over 100 or also experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or any close contacts or family members are, please do not attend the program.
